Having practiced dentistry for over 30 years as a private practitioner, a university faculty, researcher, and as a medical missionary, Dr. Jin Y. Kim considers sharing the knowledge in advances in clinical dentistry to be his life mission and passion. 

A graduate of University of Sydney Dental School and with specialty training in periodontics and implant surgery at UCLA School of Dentistry, Jin Kim had been involved in teaching fellow dental professionals at dental schools, international conferences, and at private teaching institutes around the world. He has, as of 2022, lectured in over 51 different countries across the globe. He holds clinical professorship positions at a number of universities including UCLA and Catholic University of Daegu. From 2012 to 2022 he had been the director of Global Dental Implant Academy, together with Dr. Tony Daher, based in Los Angeles. Since 1999, he has managed a number of dental study clubs in southern California, the latest one being the West Coast Study Club, an affiliate of the Seattle Study Club network. Jin Kim is board certified by the American Board of Periodontology, and by the American Board of Oral Implantology/Implant Dentistry. He is also a diplomate of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists and was awarded Fellowship by the American College of Dentists. He has published more than 20 textbook chapters and scientific articles.
