Live Implant Surgery Mentorship

Started in 1999, the original mentorship was a program intended to share surgical skills with dental professionals in southern California. This program has provided no less than 250 surgical procedures to patients, whilst providing educational insight to hundreds of dental professionals who attended the sessions at Dr. Kim's private practice setting. Dental implant manufacturers that have participated in this program as partners include Nobel Biocare, Straumann, Dentsply, Lifecore, Zimmer, Centerpulse, Biohorizons, MIS, NeoBiotech, Neoss, Dentis, and Dentium.

In 2013, Dr. Jin Kim started an extensive surgical training program in Tijuana, Mexico. Together with Professor Dong-Seok Sohn, a world-renowned oral and maxillofacial surgeon, and the creator of "sticky bone," and Dr. W. Eric Park, the inventor of the LISA Sinus Technique, Dr. Jin Kim and his team have now trained more than 600 clinicians from around the world, while providing much-needed dentistry to the local indigenous population. As of 2022, Dr. Kim teaches live patient implant programs in TJ, Mexico (with John Ku, DMD - Implant Accelerator) and Vietnam (with Prof Sohn).​​​​​​​​​​​​

This intensive 3 full-day, live patient surgery course is designed to advance your implant dental techniques through practicing the most innovative approaches in bone regeneration, implant placement, and other surgical procedures. Patients with various levels of surgical complexity are pre-selected to match your clinical skills. You will receive 28 CEU upon completion of the course.
Upon signing up for the course, each participant will receive a survey to complete. Please be on the lookout for the survey from welcome@implantaccelerator.com. This program is offered as a partnership between Next Level Dentistry and Implant Accelerator.
Course fee must be paid 30 days in advance. Full refund only made when the request is made in 45 days or more. A $1,000 non-refundable fee will be charged to participant requesting for a refund less than 45 days.

This program is organized by WAUPS - World Academy of Ultrasonic Piezoelectric Bone Surgery. Dr. Jin Kim is the US president of WAUPS. Together with professor, D-S Sohn, the man behind the original "sticky bone, " this is a 4 days intense training program where you get to do implant surgery in local hospital setting within the auspices of the local health authorities.
